Power Driven Diesel’s adjustable timing gear design introduces several
improvements over other gears.
First, the gear has a taper perfectly
matched to the P7100 shaft.
Secondly, it has infinite adjustability,
with no indexing screw to fall out into your engine, and an improved
gear-to-hub interface capable of carrying nearly 2.5 times as much
torque.
This hub uses a larger pilot for better gear puller hole access,
and to eliminate the possibility of distortion from over-torquing the
pump shaft nut. I
