Description
The P7100 pump on the '94-'98 Dodge/Cummins Turbo Diesel 12-valve engine utilizes a 12-volt electric fuel shutoff solenoid that, over time, may stop functioning. Don't let it leave you stranded - get a replacement solenoid to keep on hand in case you ever run into trouble.
The
mounting bracket
and
fuel shutoff relay
included
with this solenoid.
If your '94-'98 Dodge Turbo Diesel suddenly fails to start and you've checked the usual suspects such as enough fuel in the tank, a clogged fuel filter and that all of the contacts from the battery and starter are clean, it could be a problem with the fuel solenoid.
Manufactured by Geno's Garage. Read Tech Tip to adjust the solenoid for operation. (
